Geocoding and Address Matching
Geocoding means mapping a list of
addresses or other locations, and turning
the data into a geographic file. This file
can both be used to produce maps
showing the distribution of locations, and
to perform geographic analyses.

Some times of analysis that can be done
based on geocoded files are:

Housing Analysis
Transportation Needs
Service Areas
