Eric Beaton was the 2006 Winner of Harvard University's Howard T. Fisher Prize in
Geographic Information Science, a competitive prize awarded to the Harvard
graduate student with the best GIS analysis. His prize combined cutting edge GIS
technology with thorough background research as well as analysis of the data. The
prize winning version of the research is available

Eric graduated in 2006 with a
Master of Urban Planning degree from Harvard's
Graduate School of Design, where he was both a social and academic leader, while
earning his degree with a concentration in transportation and infrastructure
planning. Eric received his undergraduate degrees in Government and American
Studies with honors from Cornell University in 2004.
